Team Composition

Minimum of three individuals; maximum of five

At least one individual with prior Private Equity experience is recommended


Entry Deposit Fee

$100 per team (to be refunded after presentation)

Payment will be accepted via Venmo to “sadiowade” [Include “WABF PE Case” in the payment submission]


Competition Details

Registered teams will be given ten days to analyze a case and craft a recommendation presentation once the case is released by the 22nd of October

Investment proposal should include executive summary, company overview, industry overview, investment thesis and risks, key due diligence items, value creation plan, transaction structure, exit plan, IRR and MOIC return estimates

Teams must submit their presentations to sephiat@wharton.upenn.edu by the 31st of October for preview by the panel of judges

Two rounds of competition will take place: (1) Preliminary Round (2) Final Round

The Preliminary Round will consist of a 20-minute presentation to a panel of judges, followed by five to ten minutes of questions. All registered teams will present in the preliminary round

The final round will be comprised of a compressed presentation and a longer question and answer session. The top three teams will be selected to advance to the final round

Interested teams should apply below by Sunday, October 21st for early access to case materials

Registration will close on Thursday, October 25th
