Luc Mbah a Moute is a former professional basketball player, who spent 12 years in the NBA. Mbah a Moute also played for the national team of his native country Cameroon. He now serves as a player agent for Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with a focus on player development in Africa. During his playing career, Mbah a Moute helped Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam go from Cameroon to high school and college in the United States. Both came through camps that Mbah a Moute ran in Cameroon. He has had and continues to have an outsized impact on growing the game of basketball on the continent and across the diaspora.
