Menassie Taddese

Mr. Taddese is a globally experienced, visionary industry leader with deep experience ingeneral management, commercial, finance and treasury, serving all major geographies. He has led every type of pharma business, strengthening all units served while driving value in each. His authenticity, business and financial acumen, focus, and global cultural & market dexterity inform all his work. Previously, as President, Emerging Markets (EM) at Viatris, Taddese led a ~$3Bn business across 4 major therapeutic areas with a ~3,500-person team. He joined Pfizer in 1997 and held increasing roles starting in corporate and treasury, and subsequently senior commercial and general management roles. Currently, Taddese is a Partner and Advisor at EMIR Group. He also serves on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including Medexus (listed on TSX), Chairman of Audit Committee and Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU). He is a recipient of numerous industry & academic awards.
