Dr. Chinasa Okolo
Founder of Technēculturǎ
Dr. Chinasa Okolo is the Founder of Technēculturǎ, where she centers her research and advocacy on AI governance and safety for the Global Majority. She completed her PhD in Computer Science at Cornell University in 2023, has worked in research-based roles at Apple and Microsoft, and is a former Fellow at Brookings.
Dr Okolo has been recognized as one of the world’s most influential people in AI by TIME and honored in the inaugural Forbes 30 Under 30 AI list.
In her free time, Chinasa is an avid reader, globetrotter, startup advisor, and (micro)investor in early-stage tech startups focused on Africa.
