Hakeem Angulu

Hakeem Angulu is a Member of Technical Staff on the Product Platform team at Anthropic, based in New York City. Before joining Anthropic, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Google where I worked for ~4 years. Hakeem is an alumnus of Harvard College (class of 2020), with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Statistics (joint) and a secondary field of African American Studies. Hakeem’s experience and passions range from Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and other scientific research to social justice and non-profit impact work. He has explored each of these passions extensively, combining them to make responsible, measurable impact. He maintains a scholarly interest, and tangible skills, in many other areas, ranging from theoretical and applied statistics to social sciences like Economics and African American Studies. Hakeem devotes his extra time to service, event planning, community organizing, intellectual discussion, and artistic expression through photography and filmmaking. He is eager to pursue new opportunities for creative and professional growth, and to support young Black technologists and artists.
