Aniko Szigetvari

Aniko Szigetvari is a co-founder of Atlantica Ventures, an African venture capital fund focused on impact investing in early-stage technology and technology-enabled startups in Africa. Aniko currently serves as an Independent Board Member for NYSE-listed IHS Holding Ltd, a digital infrastructure company operating across Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Prior to launching Atlantica Ventures, Aniko held the position of Global Head of the Tech, Media, and Telecom (TMT) Group at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), overseeing digital infrastructure investments and portfolio activities in emerging markets worldwide. Before this global role, Aniko headed the Africa and Latin America TMT Group at IFC. Earlier in her career, she held positions at McKinsey & Company, Mondelez, and DHL. Aniko holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. She possesses 25 years of emerging market investment experience, spanning venture capital, growth equity, debt, and mezzanine financing, with a primary focus on technology and digital infrastructure investments.
