Charles Sekwalor is a Google-backed serial founder, investor, and globally connected impact entrepreneur, dedicated to social and economic change through tech and diverse talent. As CEO and Founder of The Continent Group, Charles leads a family of ventures transforming Africa’s landscape. This includes Movemeback, a Google-backed “global connector” that connects over 100,000 top-tier African talent from 170+ countries and enables companies like Meta and Uber to expand into Africa. The Continent Group also launched the Continent Fund, aimed at fueling job creation and cultural export, and will soon unveil The Continent App (TC), Africa’s LinkedIn, empowering African Gen-Z talent to build professional identities and access job markets. Charles, known as "Chale," built his first business as a teen, earned a Masters from Imperial College, and advanced through a decade-long corporate career, advising leaders as a senior strategist at McKinsey. He shaped the UK’s Tech City (Silicon Roundabout) strategy in 2011 and led a record transatlantic retail merger. An active investor and advisor to African startups and global organizations, Charles speaks at renowned institutions, including Harvard and Oxford, about Africa’s development. He’s also an avid Formula 1 fan with ambitions to secure West Africa’s first F1 race. As CEO of Movemeback, Charles is building a world where opportunities are accessible anywhere, enabling thousands of African talents and organizations to impact the continent’s future. He also leads COS Ventures, fostering ventures that drive Africa's growth.
