Christiana Ine-Kimba Boyle is an art dealer and curator in New York City. Recently appointed Partner and Co-Owner at CANADA New York, Christiana's appointment coincides with the gallery's 25th anniversary, signaling a new era of growth and innovation for the institution. Before joining CANADA, she served as Senior Director and Global Head of Online at Pace Gallery, a position she held for almost four years. During her tenure at Pace, she played a pivotal role in expanding the gallery's artist roster, bringing on renowned painter Kylie Manning in Spring 2022, and working closely with artists Hank Willis Thomas and Lynda Benglis. Christiana also activated Pace's robust online sales strategy, engaging new audiences and cultivating its global network, which resulted in significant growth for the gallery's digital initiatives. Christiana's curatorial debut at Pace, 'Convergent Evolutions: The Conscious of Body Work,' featured 17 intergenerational artists from the gallery's program alongside works by other artists in her network. This groundbreaking presentation was showcased both at Pace's New York gallery and through its online platform. Before her time at Pace, Christiana was Senior Director at CANADA, where she developed innovative sales strategies and launched the gallery's inaugural online viewing room and virtual performance platform in 2020. She is strongly committed to curatorial practice, collaborating with artists on new commissions for CANADA's digital platform as part of a series of special projects aimed at client cultivation. Her first curatorial project, 'Black Femme: Sovereign of WAP and the Virtual Realm,' received critical acclaim and featured multimedia works by artists such as Caitlin Cherry, Delphine Desane, Emily Manwaring, Kenya (Robinson), Sydney Vernon, and Qualeasha Wood. Christiana's work continues to reflect her commitment to fostering inclusivity, supporting underrepresented artists, and engaging a dynamic community of collectors. Her identity as a young Black dealer is integral to her vision of transforming the contemporary art landscape.
