Boris Kodjoe is a multifaceted professional known for his achievements across entertainment, business, and philanthropy. A dual citizen of Germany and Ghana, he graduated with a degree in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he attended on a tennis scholarship. With over 25 years of experience in business development, Boris has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry through acting roles in House Of Cards, The Last Man on Earth, Brown Sugar, Soul Food, the Resident Evil series, and The Real Husbands Of Hollywood. His films have collectively grossed over $1 billion at the box office. Beyond his work in film and television, Boris is a strategic investor, with a portfolio of over 75 companies, including TheraBody, PROTO, UNest, and HiDef, primarily supporting diverse founders in tech, sports, and entertainment. He co-founded "Full Circle Africa," a platform uniting business leaders, cultural influencers, and officials from Africa and the Diaspora to foster investment and economic development on the continent. The initiative's campaign has notably boosted tourism, adding $1.6 billion to Ghana's economy in 2019. Boris and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, have also launched GymWrap, a popular fitness apparel line, and through the Kodjoe Family Foundation, they promote health and wellness, provide scholarships for Black high school tennis players, and offer internships at the African Leadership Academy. He is also involved in racial equity initiatives, serving on Robert Smith’s Business Roundtable Committee for Racial Equity and Justice (the "2% Solution"). With his family, Boris resides in Los Angeles, balancing his entrepreneurial pursuits with a commitment to community development and philanthropy.
