Amala Okpala

Amala Okpala is a Strategic Partner Manager at Meta, where she consults BIPOC-owned beauty and fashion brands on building their social content strategy, growing their audiences, and driving revenue through Meta's newest AI commerce solutions. Amala consults some of the most innovative brands in the industry (including Telfar, Ami Cole, and Uoma Beauty) and has had her work featured on Good Morning America, Business Insider, and more. Her accomplishments include sourcing 500+ diverse-owned businesses to be managed by her team, driving her clients' revenue on Instagram by 300% YoY, and being honored on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list under Marketing and Advertising for her impact on growing diverse-owned brands in the industry. Outside of her 9-to-5, Amala serves as the Co-Director of Ambassador Programming for the Cannes Diversity Collective, where she curates exclusive programming and workshops for diverse professionals at the Cannes Festival of Creativity. As a firm believer in a collective voice for change and a commitment to paying it forward, Amala consistently leverages her position and platform to uplift and empower communities of color.
